I have been trying to rip a movie and using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter I stored the files in my PC. I then copied those files to a DVD disc, and all's well. I have Nero 6, which seems to work in the background when using Shrink or Decrypter. The disc can only be seen in my PC or my MAC, but not through the DVD player to my TV. I have ripped and copied other movies and they have been OK. I tried burning with Nero but at the end of the burning I get a message saying that burn failed error 5. Even after the failure, I still have the DVD created but only playable in computers, not on TV. What gives? Thank you. Roxy
So your ripping the DVD with DVD Decrypter and then choosing the folder DVD Decrypter creates on your hard drive to import into DVD SHrink? When you run the riped DVD through Shrink set up shrink to output an ISO file. When it is done outputing the ISO file burn it with DVD Decrypter. Start DVD Decrypter and choose MODE/ISO/WRITE then shoode the ISO file that DVD Shrink outputed. You can also set up DVDShrink to autoburn with DVD Decrypter or Nero once it is done. I prefer to output an ISO just incase DVD Shrink messes up dyring transcoding.
