So I install Nero on my notebook that has a cd burner/dvd burner on it when Nero first launches for the first time it says virtual device/image recorder and wants me to select it to continue i then cancel the wizard and go to burn hd image and select my bin/cue file then Nero prompts me to save the image. Why is this? is my burner not compatible with nero? I dont get this on my desktop at home that has an older acer 8x burner. I cant use this machine, because I need this image on a dvd+r not a cd-r, and my laptop is the only machine that has the dvd burner. any advice would be great I have no idea why this happens everytime burner is sony dvd+R dw-p50a
1. Make sure that you are not burning an image with Nero (if you are using the Wizard it is on the very last tab, just before you burn) 2. Goto Recorder --> Choose Recorder and select ur cd burner (i.e., make sure it isnt on Image Drive)
