With Nero, I can backup unfinalized DVDs by choosing the copy option. I would like instead, to simply back them up to my hard drive. (I have a DVD recorder and when the disk goes bad after recording several things on TV, I lose all the old stuff)

Does anyone know how I can do that? Instead go strait to my hard drive?

    thanks

when making a copy of the DVD, instead of choosing your DVD drive as the recording device, choose "Image Recorder". this will allow you to save the DVD as an ISO image file on the HD. during the copy process the program will ask you where you want to save the image. you can name the image file anything you want, but it's best to choose to save the file as a .iso extention rather than the default .nrg extention.
