Nero Recode 2 burning slowly

    I have a new laptop (1 week old)

    I back up my movies so that my kids can use them in there rooms and not touch the originals. I have just noticed that nero recode is taking a hour to encode a back it use to take 15 minutes. I have not installed any new software. I did do a virus scan with f-secure, evything is good it says.


    please help it just takes so long. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

    Check the DMA settings for your devices (ie..hard drive, burner) and make sure DMA has been enabled on all of them, if not enable DMA performance.
