" Nero Recode encountered an error and can not continue
Failed to open the file VTS_01_5.VOB.
There are no more files "

The dvd i am trying to burn has no file VTS_O1_5.VOB in the video ts folder ... It is a noncopyrighted dvd that i downloaded ... Does anyone know how i can fix this . Or a app to Reauthor / restructure the dvd files so Recode will burn it ? I allready tried dvd shrink , and it didnt work .

i had a similar message a couple of days ago and in my case, the problem initially occurred because the dvd decrypter didn't rip the source dvd properly. hence, file VTS_01_5.VOB was incomplete.

u could either clean the source dvd properly and rip again with whatever program you used or use your nero recode to remake the dvd by allowing it to rip the movie from the dvd directly and not from your folder

    hope this helps

You may also try to use the 'reauthor' function in Shrink to read and analyze the movie, then burn with Nero.

I dont have the dvd on disk . I downloaded it . I have tried to use the shrink reauthor function , but it has a error also .. I have tried to use tmpgn? dvd author , and dvd lab pro .. but they dont give me the correct file size . tmpgn gives me a 500mb mpeg , and dvd lab file comes out about 1000 mb .. I have no idea how to use that app it is way to complicated .[ dvdlabpro]

Downloaded movies often contain errors. In your case, you may need to convert the movie into a popular video format (e.g. avi, mpeg) with e.g. ImToo DVD Ripper, cut off the corrupted parts if need be, encode, and burn again.
