Maybe a bad install. You could try shutting down and rebooting and trying again, if that doesn't work uninstall nero and reinstall it.
- where have you got the 1.70 firmware from ? as it's not listed in the 2 places i just looked at - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1740 http://www.micheldeboer.nl/firmware/ - sufficient total memory but no free memory. you need to close down more programs prior to ALL dvd work/burning to free up more memory - can't see any media details there other than the source disc is a +R disc - Prodisc are not very good quality at all - see previous comment - try 4x
