Nero Recode 3

    I am wanting to recode a DVD movie to a DVD-5 and I can't seem to understand the difference between "Recode Main Movie to DVD" and "Recode Main Movie to Nero Digital".

    It seems like the second option creates MPEG-4 files which I thought is what is on DVD-movies anyway. If I can use the second option I'd like to because it has the ability for Fast (1 pass) Encoding that I can't seem to find on the first option.

    DVD movies are mpeg-2.
    If you want to play an mpeg-4 file on a standalone player, it has to be certified as such (in the same way that DivX files can be played on a DivX certified player).
