Hi guys! Thanx for reading! i'm running Nero Recode 4 and i encountered a weird MP4 playback problem... In Nero Recode 4 I chose to encode only the "main movie to nero digital" and left all options to default (video, audio, bla bla bla) when the MP4 was completed, i tried to play it... But i kept seeing those weird bars appearing everytime single time a puppet moves... Any idea why? cuz even in Nero Recode 2 and 3 leaving all the default options, theres no such problem! -thanx-
I'm assuming that you are converting a DVD to mp4. It looks like the source DVD video is interlaced. Interlaced video plays ok on a TV, but a PC monitor shows those lines during movement. Is there a setting in Nero recode to de-interlace output?
yes there is an option to de-interlace,,, thing is, nero recode 4 said the DVD was not interlace so that "de-interlacing" was not necessary... i think its nero recode 4's problem cuz it cant seem to detect movies correctly... so since i leave all options to default, nero recode 4 didnt de-interlace the video since it said it was not necessary... Im kinda mad at nero 9 in general... it has no difference with nero 8 and its worse.... i'll revert back to nero 8 since it has nero recode 3 in it and it works perfectly to detect if a movie is interlaced or not... i know ive heard people bashing on nero recode 4 cuz of that problem.... Plus, i don't like nero 9's "supposedly" improvements... Oh and did i mentionned that nero recode 4 encodes like shit... The AVC codec was outstanding in nero recode 3,,, and even in nero recode 2!!! oh well... F**K nero 9
If it's a DVD, drag 'VTS_01_1.VOB' (or whichever VTS is the main title) onto 'Gspot'. It will either be Progressive or I/L (interlaced). http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/gspot.cfm
HI guys! How can capture a still frame from a video..? Cuz i want to make a quality comparison and to do so i need to take the same accurate screenshot from both of my videos... I tried some software here and there but they aren't accurate at all! I've never been able to save the same exact frame from both of my videos... Any idea would be really appreciated!
Avidemux opens most video formats. Seek to the required frame (listed, lower left) using the slider or arrowed buttons and save as .bmp, .jpg etc. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/avidemux.cfm
Thanx guys for all the helping! I hope that i'll be able to get the exact same frame accurately from both of my videos to compare their quality!
