Whenever I try to recode DVDs or other videos, the process always fails and I get the following error log: Has anyone ever experienced anything like this and if so, is there any solution. Thanks
I did a Google search (Nero error:Class not registered) and found this thread at Doom9: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=87165 From the thread: Hehh, this has solved my problem: start nero > help > enter new serial number and enter serial number for all the things, like multichannel plug-in, nero digital, mpeg2 dvd plugin ect ect...
I saw this post as well but I'm not sure how it's going to help me. I only have one serial number, which is the one that came with the Nero 6 package.
That didn't seem like a workable solution to me either. Why for example would you need to enter the serial for the different components? Seems to me that they should register themselves when you enter your serial the first time. Have you tried running Nero's registry checker and Driver cleaner tools? I'd try that as it only takes a few seconds. Download the Driver-CleanTool.exe and RegistryChecker.exe from here; http://nero.com/nero6/enu/Driver_CleanTool_and_RegistryChecker.html If it still does not work, I'd remove your current Nero with the Nero general clean tool and then reinstall Nero. General CleanTool: http://nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html The current bug-free version of Nero 6 is 6.6.0.18. You can download from here: Get both packages. Package 2 contains Recode. Package 1 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe See if that helps.
