Nero Recode Frame Rate and Volume Problems

    I'm having two problems with Nero Recode 2 (2.3.0.8). Both problems occur when I try to convert a DVD to Nero Digital Format (mp4), for playback on a video iPod. The first is the volume is way too low, the second is the frame rate is converted from 29.97 to 23.976. Now if I burn to a DVD, everything is fine, frame rate and volume. The problem only occurs when converting to the Nero Digital Format.

    I just encoded an .avi file into MP4 format using Recode and the Apple iPod setting. The resultant file seemed OK and was at 29.97 fps.

    Maybe check your settings:
    Profile Category: Apple iPod
    Profile: iPod Video
