Nero Recode help. (Downmixing Audio)

    I have a DVD9 image i want to shrink down to DVD5. The problem is that I want to downmix the Surround sound into stereo - so its TV friendly.

    Is there any way I can extract / re-encode and replace the audio?

    If you don't have a choice to select a stereo audio stream , your player should be just fine downmixing the surround to stereo. Never had a problem playing any DVD or any AVI with surround sound on my stereo equipment. I think you are trying to complicate things more than necessary.
