When I try to recode a DVD in Nero Recode 3.1.2.0 everything appears to work OK. I burn it as an image to disk then onto a blank DVD. When I go to burn the image it tells me I have an illegal disk, and on inspection the .nrg image file is only 156 bytes on the hard disk. I'm also using AnyDVD 6.3.0.0 HELP! Thanks.
Jim49648, any reply yet? I'm having the same trouble both with Vista 32 and 64 bit systems with different burners, so it's not a driver or hardware issue. Seems like an imageburner problem?? Please let me know if you hear anything. I have several emails into Nero support. When I "cleantool" and reinstall nero7 on both, recode 2 works perfectly as it has for the last 1-2 years. hmm..
Yeah, Nero finally replied to me... APPARENTLY they know about it... It's a problem with Nero. When they can be bothered they're gonna fix it in an update. In the meantime they suggest that you either copy on the fly, or burn to a hard-disk folder. You can then copy to a DVD from there. I've tried the second idea, and it works OK.
