    Good afternoon all,
I have a unique question for anyone that could plz HELP me. I recently installed NERO 7, and am trying out NERO Recode when I ran into a BIG issue. I clicked on the "IMPORT DVD" and saw the DVD import on a small scene in fast motion as well as a progressive green chart as it imported. At the end I clicked "Next" which told me that the DVD need to be altered due to it was to large. I did not have time to click "BACK" and edit the DVD to fit so I just "X" out of the program. I have done a few videos like this (stupid).
Now my question, where did NERO store these video's???? They did not get removed when I "X" them out because if I put the DVD back in and select "IMPORT DVD" the Title, and all data imediatley pops up. It does not have to import completely again which tells me these DVD's that I imported and did nothing with but just "X" out are still in my computer taking up ALOT of space. PLZ, PLZ, PLZ can someone tell me how to find them so they ma be removed???? I have searched all the NERO programs, files, temp file, my documents, everywhere I can think of. I even de-installed NERO completely, re-installed. Then I placed the same DVD back in and clicked "IMPORT DVD" and once again, the video data imediatley poped up without having to import in.
Any information that anyone might have on getting rid of these imported videos, I would VERY much appreciate it.

    Thank you so much!!!!!!
    Joe

Recode is not storing the entire video. After it is imported, what actually shows are movie "statistics", not the movie itself.
The statistics are kept so the next time you load the same movie, Nero will just load the previously gathered statistics.

They don't take up much room. I don't remember where Nero places these, if I find them, I'll let you know.

    Edit:
I found where these are stored:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ahead\Nero Recode

    THANK YOU so much FASFRANK,

You guys here are awsome, the only question I have left is, I do not have "Application Data\AHEAD\NERO" starting in ALL USERS. I am running WINDOWS XP HOME and NERO 7.0 with no updates so it might be in a differant spot, what do you think???
Once again FASFRANK, Thank you so much

    Hi Joe,
    Maybe they are hidden!

    Try this.
Open Windows Explorer, and at the top menu, click Tools.
    Click Folder Options.
    Click the View tab.
In the Advanced Settings list, find the listing for "Hidden files and folders".
Select the "Show hidden files and folders" option.
Now you should have quite a few more files showing in Windows Explorer, including the ones we were looking for.

If yu are not comfortable with all these files showing up, change back to the original settings. You can just click the Restore Defaults button at the bottom.

    Frank
