Hey, I tried using DVD Shrink at first, the file is to big and it won't shrink to (4.7gb). I searched a few threads and came across "FixVTS". Tried that, No go. Then tried Nero Recode, Still nothing. This is the first time I've ever came across a problem like this is the past 5 years of backing up DVDs. This is a concert DVD (not a fancy sony movie heh).

What size is it before you try to shrink it? I don’t use shrink but clone never had a problem like this the file isn’t HD is it? and also you can only fit 4.35gig on a single layer disk

I know you can only fit 4.3g, just saying 4.7g for the general disk size on a label for shits n giggles. original file is 6.5gbs (DVD9). Not HD. Only shrinks to about 4.8g. DVD Shrink and Nero Recode won't shrink any further.

I've got it ripped to the HD. That's not the problem, Just shrinking it to fit on a single (DVD5) disc.

The concert hasn’t got subtitles or extra sound tracks hard encoded into the video if so you can’t remove hard encoded from the video so when it shrinks it that’s the lowest you can go might be wrong cant think of anything else

I installed it, went all through it. I don't see where it says to "Shrink" a DVD. I do not need to rip this to the HD. The files are already on the HD.
