i'm about to uninstall every other software i have and keep Recode2 as my main and only transcoding tool. let me tell you why. i just did "failure to launch",menus,previews and xtras, 61% level of compression(39% actual compression), the copy came out perfect, as good as the original. i have used Recode2 many times in the past but i have mainly done main movie only where there is not much compression needed. i never imagined the results i got at 39% compressinon would be as good as the one i got.wow. anydvd ripper to hard drive/vobblanker when needed, if needed/Recode2 to compress in to an ISO folder/ IMGBurn to burn. this method might take longer than others but, it is woth the way. it took Recode2 about i hour to compress this one. p:s: i believe that at the level of compression, only this trasncoder can do such a great job, shrink comes very close though.
now if only they would have the guy who made recode2 transcoder would work on the nerovision team and turn that transcoder into something other than a complete piece of crap!
