hi all i've been using nero reloaded (version 6.6.0.18) in order to burn a *.avi to VCD. the avi file was 782MB and the CD-R was 728MB. after waiting a life time for the avi to be encoded nero refused to burn the cd-r as the data waiting to be burned was larger in size than the cd-r. this however i thought whould not be a problem, as i thought that nero whould know the capacity of the cd-r and compress the encoded avi data in order to fit the cd? this was not the case and nero just did'nt burn. thing is, my friend has nero 7 and im positive that this verion of nero fits data on to cd-r. does this have to be done manually with reloaded or what? You have to select the option to fit on a 700 mb CD it still may say that it is too big the you will have to use 2 discs.
