Nero "Runtime Error, the application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"

Running Nero 8 using Nero Express to burn audio CD and suddenly getting this message.

 

installed or changed anything on your pc lately?

try uninstall with nero clean tool from there website... runtime error i think i have seen with directX for games?

 

I installed Firefox several weeks ago before this started, more recently Winrar...Both have been running without problems for weeks
And Ive been running Nero 8 for 6 months without any problem.
Ive been burning mostly music , live shows.
It could be significant that this problem started when I tried to burn something "different" for the first time.
I read that Nero has something built in to block burning copyrighted material, so that might be the cause.
To test it I tried burning something I know is not protected and it worked fine, Ill try some more along these lines and report back.
Has anybody else heard of this issue?
