    PIE: parity inner code errors
PIF: parity inner code fail (1st level error correction failure)
POF: parity outer code - fail; (uncorrectable errors).
APIE: average PIE, measured over the whole disc

just understand that the quality score is where it's at:

Hey Gurnard....... that's a great score for a DVD-R...... I only have TYGO2 for my DVD-Rs and I get about 93-95 in the quality scores for the -Rs

    hi buddy :)
thanks for the answer, yes can appreciate the Max...Min and Av.and off course the Q score.
it's just that i have been asked a few times what the "Total" numbers represent.
LOL. your eyes must be as bad as mine. the scan is on a MCC 004 booktyped -rom burned at 16x in a small test we had on BurningBits. i never burn that fast normally.
with my LiteOn's i have'nt yet got a score over 95, although having said that even with -r (only use + now adays) most have been between 87-93
