hi again people, i"m trying to burn (dumb and dumber) onto hard drive using nero 6.6.0.10 but after about 15 mins it doesnt seem to get any further on and it never seems to show any preview of the movie, the movie is a divx download(which i think could be the problem), i have left nero running for up to 4 hrs but the overall progress never seems to get past the 15 mins,i have turned the drive speed right down to 4x but no luck, (the movie plays fine on win media also) thnxs in advance.
thanks for info scuba, i was a bit behind with nero, got nero 6.6.1.4 now but still seems to be getting no further than 15 to 20mins into the burn and still not showing any sort of preview of the film, this isnt a big problem cos its only this particular movie that nero wont copy for me, it just bugs when i dont know why!!!! and in response to philraz i tried downloading DivXtoDVD and it said the file was corrupt any ideas??
(DivXtoDVD was corrupt), i started downloading some of it and then it said the file was corrupt. i got a feeling its just this one movie cos i did another divx movie and that was fine,very strange, its nothing to worry about though, thanx.
ScubaBud(or anyone) any ideas on this? i updated to nero 6.6.1.4 yesterday and nero is burning to hard disc then when i put download through dvd shrink it says cannot connect TRM, so i have had a look at previous threads and it seems there could be a problem with this version of nero(i"m probably wrong) i have run nero clean wizard then reinstalled my original nero6.6.0.12 and i am not getting any problems.let me know if i should be starting a new thread with this one.p.s is nero recode the same as dvdshrink?
I have not had a problem with the newer version of Nero so far. I also don't use Shrink since I have Recode2 and also AnyDVD. Recode2 was created by the same individual that created DVD Shrink, except it can't decrypte on it's own, hence the need for a program like AnyDVD.
