Hi, I really hope that someone here can help me with this audio issue I have been having. I just bought a new sony dvd drive which came with Nero essentials 7 software the player is nero showtime. For some reason I have no sound when I play a dvd. On one of the dvds I played I have sound on the title menu but when I play the dvd the sound is gone. I downloaded and ac3 filter and can now play dvds with sound on WMP but not on Nero showtime. I also bought the multichannel filter from Nero and this still did not fix my problem. I also cant adjust the volume on the player or mute or unmute, it is locked for some reason. I have an echo MIA soundcard possible conflict? Very strange and annoying. Help! Things I have done to solve the problem: downnloaded ac3 filter downloaded multichannel filter from Nero checked all of the system sound devices and volumes tried several differnt dvds
Help Anyone? Forgot to add cds play fine. Its just image with no sound. Do you think that the non Nero ac3 filter I downloaded is interfering now tthat I bought the Nero plug in?
