I'm now using Nero Showtime to play dvds. Why are the image setting sliders under options greyed out. Disc plays fine but I am unable to adjust brightness, contrast, etc. Can anyone help me solve this problem?
You did not state which version you are using, but I have the latest Nero 7 and the controls seem to work under Options-Video-Enhanced Video. If yours don't, maybe the video has something to do with it, try another video. Perhaps the mode you have in place when you try to access the controls might make a difference, you know stop or pause or whatever. If none of that works, you might want to update your install--there may be a bug in yours.
I am using Nero 6.6.0.18. I experience the problem regardless of the type of dvd media I am playing. I am reluctant to update because other versions have given me the audio sync problem when burning avi files to dvd. Can you recommend a good software program which will allow me to view dvds on my pc?
