Hi, when I go to burn a DVD with Nero it has a limit set at 4.3 GB and I wanted to know if there was a way to burn beyond that. The DVDs I have are 4.7 GB so why can't I use the extra space? Does it really take that much extra space to close the session? Thanks

    Version: Nero 6 Ultra
    Drvie: Lite-On SOHW-1673S

Marketing departments deliver the 4.7Gb number. But in reality dvd-5 can only hold 4.37Gb

plus the dye doesn't necessarily reach the edge of the discs on lower quality discs. Even on quality discs i still don't trust burning to the edge (i only use DVDs for movies). I've always been a fan of overburning CDs, but no way with DVDs; half the planet seem to have problems getting movies to even work on DVDs, never mind overburning them!
