I recently installed 1 Click5 and the latest version of VDV43.
I have usually used Nero to burn discs and Showtime to check/view the files.
Previously everything worked fine but now I have problems.
Once the computer shut down and restarted during a copy process.
When I try to view a file through showtime it says skin not available or loaded or something to that effect.
The computer shut down when I tried to copy a cd but I found if I disabled DVD43 I was able to copy the disc.
I also recently installed another burner so I could copy and burn without sending the data the the HD.
All I can think of is that I did'nt uninstall the original versions of DVD43 and 1 Click so maybe this is the problem?
Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
    regards
    greg

    Hi pies4ever
DVD43 can cause conflicts so see if it is still listed in add/remove programs. Do a search and see if any files/folders for it are listed. Delete them.
Uninstall Nero - run the clean tool. Reboot.
Here's a link for the different versions of nero clean tool - use the clean tool for which version you have:
    http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Clean_Tools.html
Then run a registry cleaner like ccleaner(free). Use the cleaner & issues option.
    Reinstall Nero.
    See if that helps.

    Hi Binkie
I uninstalled DVD43 and uninstalled Nero and also the original 1Click.
    I then re-installed Nero then DVD43.
It appears to have worked and now Showtime works
and my PC is'nt shutting down at random for no reason.
fingers crossed the problem has been solved!
    Thanks for the help.
