I have been attempting to learn how to create a slide show to put on a DVD to view on a TV and came across Windows Photo Story first which is a great piece of software enabling one to apply captions and audio comments with no trouble. Great I say until that is you discover that the idiots who built it forgot to enable it to be burnt to a DVD. I then had a go at building a slide show using Nero and I have to say that it is the most un-intuitive piece of software that I have ever met. Is there any real use for this disc other than tying it to a string in the garden to frighten the birds away from the seedlings? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what good software exists which will allow me to build a slide show with captions and vice over comments and burn to a DVD?
I gave up trying to make Nero work and attempting to get help from them so I bought a copy of Sonic DVD for Photo Story 3 for Windows and I fiannly got my DVD created.
