I had an original AVI file and I assume it was set to Dolby Digital sound, where when ppl speak in the movie it sounds fine and when the background music or any music plays then it sounds much higher. My question is how do I keep the volume at one same level? What setting should I have my Nero Audio format set to or is there no solution? Thanks for the help folks!!!
Well your AVI probably has Dolby 5.1 and Nero is probably DownMixing it to Dolby Stereo without Normalizeing the seperate audio channels... If nero was a Good program for Makeing DVD"s then it would Keep the original Dolby 5.1 so there wouldn"t be any differance in the audio between the avi and the DVD files, but what can you expect when useing a Purely consumer oriented program?? The only thing I can suggest is to not use Nero or just deal with the Bad audio.... The Proper way you be to demux the Dolby 5.1 audio from the AVI file and then Just encode the AVI Video to Mpeg-2 DVD and then Load the Mpeg-2 Video and the Dolby 5.1 file into a Good DVD authoring program and author the Files to DVD......
