nero start smart gone

i used to have nero start smart. when i updated it went away. how do i get it back? and how do i know what version i have . i now can find nero in all progams.

 

I had the same problem when I upgrade to the latest Nero Express 6 and Nero Vision Express3.
What I did was a hard disk search for *start*smart*.exe
I found mine under the C:\Program Files\Nero\InCD\NeroStartSmart folder.

Then, later, I uninstalled all of my Nero previous Nero products anf reinstalled the upgrade I mentioned.

Now I find it under C:\Program Files\Nero\NeroStartSmart folder.

Where ever you find your *start*smart*.exe - then create a "shortcut" onto your desktop to be able to launch it from there.

The same thing happened to me when I updated my nero - I am glad you all found a solution also -

FYI for anyone else that may be having this problem.

Use the above advice [bold]or - an alternate solution[/bold] ...

I made sure to [bold]install the OEM update LAST![/bold] OEM puts it back on your dektop for you.

For some reason installing that stupid media player and vision express takes away the desktop icon for start smart *shaking head*, that is why I upgraded those before the OEM part.

 

you can still find nero in all programs>nero but nero start smart is much easier hey homer how do you figure this out you the man......
