Ok, When I am backing up a dvd in Nero Recode2, I thought I saw a box that asked if I wanted to keep the temporary file after completion...(but apparently I did not / or I cant find it at this point ...) I also looked-into the "configuration" settings and did not see an option to do this either. [bold]Can someone tell me if there is a way to keep the temporary file on the HD, when you have the destination set to dvd writer?[/bold] So when I have a bad burn I can just go back to the HD instead of going through the disk process all over again. Any feedback would be appreciated
There should be a setting that asks if you want to delete the temporary files when complete, un check that. If its already unchecked you should still have those file somewhere you just have to find them.
this is also my problem. on what specific folder can i find the temporary files? im running out of space here. please help.
tdisom Ok THAT is the message that I saw before - that message / box no longer is on there anywhere. Is it possible that it is in a different nero application (ie - not in Recode)? I looked over and over for it - it is not there - but I know I am not dreaming this up. Now I did see a the disc-at-once box. I wonder if I uncheck that it will yield the same results? [bold]Exactly what part in the process are you seeing that box tdisom? OR is this the same as un-checking the disk-at-once box? It seems like it will be the same thing.[/bold]
I'm using NERO Express. the software is included when i bought my dvd writer. i just want to delete those unwanted files. thanks for your reply tdisom.
In nero recode the file are storde where ever you them the program to store them. When start the program it analyses, then you must hit the next button, here you will see at the top destination which is where you choose your burner, directly below this you will see folder for temporary files here is where your files are stored copy the link and and search for the folder. you can change this to a folder such as my document or ect. to this just click the browse button and choose a folder that you can find easily. @Mystica - this will help you as well.
Thanx tdisom, I think I am back on the right track - I think I was getting two diff programs mixed up too.
