I am using the latest ver of Nero on my Win98SE PC with my new Cendyne IDE CD-RW and having problems. When I go to burn an audio CD, I drag in my wav/mp3 files, select my CD-RW drive, click burn and all appears to go well. It starts the burn process, calculates track volume levels, writes the lead-in, the CD-RW LED blink red, then at 4% of the burn it says "....SCSI/ATAPI Timeout Error" and everything freezes. Happens consistently. I have EAC and Feurio as well, but prefer Nero as it automatically Normalizes tracks. Any thoughts? Thanks, JR
Ignore the issue I posted....I figured it out. Burn the files to the image recorder then use the image to burn to the CD-RW drive. JR
