I am a newbie to Nero dvd and i was wondering if anyone had ever had this problem..? Burned 4 dvd's from my saved tv shows.. Then the next 1 I tried was ALMOST perfect except the voice was about 45 seconds AHEAD of the actors mouth movements saying their lines.... Has anyone had this happen?? I have searched all the options and found nothing that might correct it.. Is this a OLD bug and i am just now finding it, or is it something I am doing wrong?? I would welcome any help you have on the subject.. I am using Nero 7 for burning.. It worked great the first 4 disk.. I am also using a lightscribe burner,, Could this make a difference.. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP !!!!!!!
Hi tdwice Welcome to aD Could be a bug in Nero if the files play fine on the pc. Are these avi files or what format are they? Which version of Nero 7 are you using like 7.0.8.2, 7.2.3.2b etc.
Finally I have found a thread where someone else is having the same problem. I have Nero 7 Premium and for some reason, my videos that i am trying to burn to dvd wont play video in sync with the audio when using Nero Showtime. Funnily enough, Windows Media Player plays them fine. Whats more, when trying to use Nero Vision to create a dvd image for burning the same thing happens. It imports the files no worries but when you get to the preview page, the video starts and plays fine but lags progressivly more and more behind the audio. The files audio is MPEG Layer-3 @ 127kbps and video is XVID @ 146kbps. I think it is AVI but not sure. Tried this on my laptop too and same deal. No idea whats going on. Only new to this stuff so any ideas would be great! Regards Trav
Hi BAMKIIXR8 Which version of 7 are you using? Go to Nero ToolKit - Info Tool. Click on the sfotware tab - your version of Nero will be there. Some versions of Nero 7 are better than others for Vision.

Hope this helps. Strange that Windows Media Player will play the files and yet Cyberlink PowerProducer, Nero Vison and I think Intervideo WinDVD Creator all have problems either with lip sync or they just fail the burn process
I usually just test mine in Windows Media player - if all is good there than I use Vision to do it's bit. So here are some options for you. Nero does have a newer version out - 7.5.1.1. Used Vision only a few times w/ this version and all okay so far. Nero 7.5.1.1 Or tyr the trial of these 2 programs ConvertXToDVD (leaves a watermark) or WinAVI. If the trial's don't have the burn funtion avaialable then you can burn the files w/ nero burning rom or express. ConvertXToDVD WinAVI Keep us posted!
