This stinks, I purchased Nero for $79 bucks and have been using it for a few weeks. I stored the unlock key in my palm Desktop. Well I need to reinstall the Nero and when I went for the Unlock ley it was gone, the hotsync was set for Handheld to overwrite Desktop. I contacted Nero but dont think they'll help. Any suggestions?? I'm sure there has been other knuckleheads that have lost their code
If you have burned anything with Nero Burning Rom you can locate your burn logs in the following locations: Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt You serial keys are located at the top of the log.
If that doesn't work, can you run Product setup and look under license. If that doesn't work, run regedit and check under: HKLM\Software\ahead\Installation\Families\Nero7\Info
