    Hi all,

When I use ( or should I say try to use ) Nero Vision 4 to capture footage from my new Sony DCR-PC1000, I get a runtime Error each time I switch to the USB Capture Device with an error for the gchw.dll

    AppName: nerovision.exe AppVer: 4.1.0.9 ModName: gchw.dll
    ModVer: 3.9.0.20 Offset: 0003b8db

Anybody got any idea what's wrong? I had Sony's Picture Package installed before with the USB driver. Uninstalled those pretty quickly but that didn't solve the issue ?

Thanks for giving me some hints. I'm running Nero-7.0.1.4b.

The usb connection is for streaming and for using it as a webcam and such. To transfer video you will need to use the i.link connection. Its on the handycan station like the usb.

    That corrected it thanks.

But why is it that Moviemaker and Picture Package from Sony had
no problems with the USB connection and NERO Does ?
    Is there some catch ??

    This comes from Hp knowledgebase

Thats what I meant in your other thread when I said you may be stuck with using showbiz to capture and whatever you like for the rest for the time being.
