Is anybody else getting this problem? Here is a step by step of what I am doing: 1. Capturing old tv shows on RAM discs via my DVD recorder 2. Importing discs into Vision 3. Editing out unwanted comercials 4. Creating chapters and video effects The final version looks great in the preview screen, but after it is burnt to disk the following problem occur in playback. Small parts of audio from deleted commercials is overlapped w/ audio from the show. The video then lags, waiting for the audio to catch up. This is hugely annoying, considering the time and effort I have put into this project. Does this sound like a bug or something I am doing wrong? Please help...I would hate to have to scrap all my hard work.
Nope, it's not a bug. Your video files are overlapping 'cos nve merged all the VOB segments into a single video. Next time you're adding the video files and a message pops up asking you to merge, click 'NO'. Hope this helps
Sorry, i'd been away. Anyway, i'm a Nero6 user, so pls bear with me if you don't get the same pop-ups.. When you have a problem like that, it's better to add the VTS files to your nve individually , as opposed to adding them all together at once. That way you'll stop the files getting merged and jumbled.
Ok, let me see if we are on the same page...sorry, I am not the most technical person. I don't think the files are getting merged, it's the post-edited content that is screwy. After I cut the commercials from the imported video and preview it, it looks perfect. The audio ghost is actually that of the deleted commercials after I burn the project - the stuff that was supposed to be edited out of my "movie". I have gone back and launched the raw video and it also looks fine - no ghosts. I am I making sense?
