Hello everyone, I know this is going to be a disappointing question but I have only installed Nero 8 a couple days ago and have barely worked a burning program before. When trying to burn a video file that I downloaded off of Utorrent, I have tried going through Nero StartSmart, in Nero Express then going into Rip and Burn and then into Burn Video Disc. From there it gives three options, Video CD, Super Video CD and DVD. From my understand, I would use DVD option to make a copy of a cd I personally own or what not. When I try to open up the video files I have downloaded, it wouldn't bring them up because they are not in the correct format. So then going into Super Video it will allow me to use those files I have downloaded to make into a movie. BUT heres the problem I am facing. When finishing the encoding, it ask for the correct disc to be burned onto. The disc I have tried to use are DVD-R 4.7 GB, but it won't use it, saying it needs to be a CD-R/ RW. When I tried the CD-R 700MB cd it says the cd is too small. Most of these files are close to 700MB but even when it is under 700 it is still saying the disc is too small. I'm not sure why this version of Nero won't allow me to use DVD discs because in Nero 4 it would. I can't understand why it will only allow CD-R or CD-RW cds when their capacity is only 700MB. Can someone tell me what I need to do to make the program use DVD discs to burn these video files correctly or tell me what discs I need to use. I would greatly appreciate it!
