    Hello
    Using Nero 7.5.1.1
Using the latest Nero Vision - AVI to DVD, when played back on my Citizen DVD player I now get pixel blocks. However when I tested on 4 other DVD players all DVD's played back fine?.

Has anyone heard of such a problem like this?.
I have had this DVD player 3 years now without an issue, and used Nero for the last two years.

Got me completly puzzled - can anyone shed some light!
I have checked all settings on DVD player and they are as default as they were originaly
    ----------------
When I re-install 7.0.8.2 all is back to normal and my Citizen plays them fine?.

    Hi remcd
To me it sounds more like a problem w/ the Citizen DVD player than the version of Nero. Reason being playback is fine in all but that one.
Players can be picky esp. older ones. Discs can be hit or miss sometimes on them.
Might want to use a lens cleaner on it.

Using good media also like Verbatim or made in japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell?
How about burn speed? Try using 1/2 the rated speed of the media if you're not already.

    Thanks for your reply.
I have allways used Maxell and a 4X burn speed - that I will double check, thanks for reminder. I think there is a setting in Nero Vision?

Just strange that the Citizen plays fine with DVD movies and all my own created .AVI that I have previously burned with same settings but here again with 7.0.8.2

At least I have 2 options - new player or put 7.0.8.2 back in.
I guess at the lower price today of DVD players it does not hurt to replace every 2 years or when they act up.

Yep dvd players are alot cheaper than they used to be. Cheaper than Nero actually :)

It is strange that the dvd played fine using an earlier version but I'm still leaning towards the player.

For the burn settings usually by default Nero has max set. In Vision click on 'recorder settings' to set the burn speed you want.
