this is a major part of your problem , you dont have enough free physical memory when you attempt to transcode your file.Either close some programs that are running or get another 512 sim of ram installed. You arent surfing the net while you are doing this are you? The way it works is if you have all these programs running, the transcode process is a bit resource heavy and your computer will allocate resources to each program on a fair basis. So instead of getting 100%for the transcoding you may only get 50%, 10%for your music player,10%for you surfing the net etc.So at the end of the day you are so low that your physical memory is eaten up and the process cant complete this is the buggy version, suggest you go back to 6.6.0.18 as the one you are using isnt very good and doesnt support auto burning with shrink/nero
You were advised to go back to Nero 6.0.1.8 however you've gone back to the Arc. What I would recommend is that you uninstall that version of Nero, run the clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html to remove all traces and then Install this bug free version from here http://httpdl2.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe
Each photo you add becomes a .vob file. The DVD specification allows .vobs within a title set to be numbered from 01 up to 99, so thats 99 photos maximum. Limit it to 99 (preferably somewhat less!) and it should work. Make sure you get the bug-free version!
Cheers for the help However this version is asking for a serial number which I have not needed until now, given my software was a bundle. Do I need to purchase a licence? Warren
