hi, i have ripped the tv show LOST Series 1 from DVD to my pc, as i borrowed them from my friend. Now, i try to burn 4episodes to a dvd-r disc, including headings and a menu screen. I have converted to DVD, and also have followed the recommend options to make them fit on a disc, but for some reason, after i leave the process running, when it has finished, i try to play the DVD and its a blank disc, nothing has been written on it!! I don't know what the problem is! The first thing thats comes to mind is that whenever i try to use NVE 3 for any type of burning DVD, it never works! And i don't know anyother software that is as good as Nero for menus, titles etc! Can anyone help me plz? Sooner rather that later? :s Thanks, ~Shaun~
... along with the media format being used. Having the brand and manufacturer code wouldn't hurt. Brand is obvious and you can use CD-DVD Speed in the Nero toolkit to access Disc Info where you can get the manufacturer ID. The free DVDInfopro can access the same as can the DVD Identifier (task specific). I've heard Nero has been having problems burning DL sometimes. I'm not sure of the truth to that, but it has been mentioned around the forum. I can attest Nero is hard to beat on burning DVD5s from personal experience.
