hoping someone can help me please, i have nero vision express 3 SE and i am trying to make a dvd with avi files but when i open nero there is no MAKE DVD to click on only MAKE CD. what do i need to download to get this? or have i done something wrong when i doenloaded nero?
Are you using a trial version, I believe the function you want is only available with the full version, try this d'l http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe
thank you for the fast reply, yep it is a full version but i think i might need a plug-in (whatever that is) as i just read the info on it. A dvd-video plug-in is that right?
If you have a version you purchased then that feature should be available, go to StartSmart, Info Tools and locate your version number.
the version is 3,1,0,7 -NEROVISION and NERO SMARTSTART is 2,0,0,20 not sure if these are what you mean, again thanks for your help
OK try updating to this version, both packages http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe
thanks for your help gwendolin i downloaded the versions that you gave me a link to, but still did not have the make dvd/video, so a friend told me to download nero dvd/video plugin so of course i did and then when i opened nero the 'make dvd/video' was there, so was able to burn my avi files to disc. thought this might help anyone else that has had the same problem, not sure why it did not show up with my nero as i would think that nero would already have the dvd/video plugin. but i am happy that i have it now. again thanks for the help and i hope i am able to help someone else with this problem.
hi, i'm having the same problem as philly. I can't seem to burn my avi files to make a dvd. I have the "Burn DVD-Video Files" option but it only accept vob, ifo and bup format. I'm using Nero VisionExpress SE that comes with the burner. The Nero version is 6.6.1.4. Can someone help me, pls? thanks!
