If these are new disks, your DVD drive may not recognise them, and you may need a firmware upgrade. What model/make is your drive?

What version of Nero are you using? Eg. 6.x.x.xx or 7.x.x.x

Although I've been told differently, unless you have a FULL (paid for) version of Nero then you do not have the DVD option....as I stated, others will disagree so maybe they will contribute something and tell you how it is possible to obtain this option, Cheers.

As stated above, the MAKE A DVD (Nero has many options) option opens the program NERO Vision. There you will be able to add ur movies. What nero vision does...it compress the movies. My previous post, as stated, I recorded 6 episodes of The Bold and Beautiful each episode is approx 1.5GB at 30 min running time. Total movies are 8.6GB. Nero Vision reduce the movies at 4.0GB and given the option of burning the movies to my HDrive or dvd burner.
As for the Nero Burning ROM. Yes, one can burn DVD. I usually create a image file (.nrg). (from my experience) using nero rom creates a image file faster(27kb) then imgburn (18kb).
I am using nero rom v 7.5.9 & nero vision v4.7.0 Take care

Hi, thanks for the info. I got the problem fixed, all I had to do was download the DVD-Video plug-in drivers, so I can copy now, but I'm having another problem...I'm using 4x certified DVD+RW (4.7GB) to copy my downloaded files to. Everything seems to go fine but I'm missing the last few minutes of the movies. Can anyone help me out on this?

Hi! I want to ask about the differences in Nero 6 and Nero 7. I especially want to know about the differences in Nero Vision 3 and Nero Vision 4. Can anyone explain?

Can you make DVDs with Nero Vision 3?
