The 2 Pass VBR takes double the time to convert avi to dvd. Do you guys religiously use the 2 Pass VBR despite the time required? What has been your experience in picture quality between the 1 Pass and the 2 Pass VBR encoding methods? Is it dramatic enough to warrant the extra time? Thanks for the feedback. agarg
alkohol swears by the 2pass, I tried it for a while and couldnt really see much difference so now have switched back to 1 pass which does what I want with satisfaction.
I agree with Gwendolin. I personally never even tried the 2 pass, just because about everytime I could not see how the picture could be improved, I was more than satisfied! Gwen, I see you're also "hooked"! Probably one of the very few "Addictions" that needs Congratulations!
