im burning several episodes onto a dvd(either saving to hard disck or burning, i tried both)the avi files are working properly, but while its encoding just the first avi file, ner vision shuts off without explanation. it doesnt minimize to a icon in the corner, it justs disappears and i have to restart the program. Whats wrong?
Watch the progress bar. If Nero always crashes at the same point it is an AVI error. Try cleaning the file by 'converting' using WinAVI Video converter or similar. Playing with a different player may reveal the glitch. I have experienced this exact problem.
got a error log? have you done a simarlar project before ok? if yes then as second poster says could just be that avi? could try a uninstall of nero then after use the clean tool. could be a different format avi to rest may need a codec for it? as in audio AC3 or MP3 or even divx/xvid.
