When I add Videos to Nero Vision...I can read the lettering on my computer screen(just barely though)....but when I burn to DVD....I can't make out what the titles say at all. The lettering is way too small....I don't have a HD TV but it is a 20 inch about 3 years old so I am sure it's not my tv. Does anyone know how to make the title lettering bigger? I don't mean the Header/Footer Text either. The actual titles that are next to the videos when you pick a LAYOUT.... I have also been wondering if it is possible to get rid of the titles all together. Sometimes I will make a video with a Footer at the top describing it..but then the title is still there and if I delete all of the words...it still has a #1. next to it on the menu.
You make the titles larger by making them smaller --i.e. use fewer words. And I think you have to do that with all of them and not just one or two on the screen. Try cutting them all down to 1 word and see if it helps. It seems there is also a font selection which might help. I just noticed you can open the More button and there is a font height calculation mode you could play with. If you go to the edit buttons options, you can choose to use Numbers and Text or just numbers, or just text.
I have no idea why Nero is considered the standard in making DVDs. It is an absolutely horrible program. I thank you for helping me though Saltgrass, you helped me get past step 1 but it appears there are more steps or I have hit a dead end again. I am just trying to make a simple dvd with "Sade" music videos. The titles for the videos are "Smooth Operator, By Your Side, King of Sorry" etc.....I mean what kind of program would not allow you to put in titles that short and be able to read them. You were right about the MORE button font height option..I hit "custom" and then changed the size larger on the "FONT" menu...but now that I got the titles bigger....they go behind the video so you can't read half of it! Even at the smallest custom size level(8.0) If anybody else knows how to bring them to the front of the video or place more to the side let me know.
