NERO VS. ROXIO

    I just wanted evryone's opinions on burning software. I am asking Which is better Roxio or Nero?

    Roxio is very good at interfering with other burning apps so if you install other apps beware that it can cause problems. I wouldn't touch Roxio with a ten foot stick personally.


    Nero on the other hand is a very stable and well mannered burning app that works well with most everything and interfaces with DVD Shrink to automate the burning process. Nero 6 Ultra is a very comprehensive burning suite that is well worth the money and even the basic OEM version of Nero 6 will do all your basic burning chores very capably :)

    Ive found version 7 of Roxio's Media Creator to be very stable and accurate. I don't know what the hell they did with version 6.0 though. Seems like every other revision is very unstable. 5 Was ok, 4 Had probs., etc.
