I have been using this to edit MP3 s and has worked up to now, and for some reason now I go and I cut what I want out and when I go to click the save button the wave editor disappears and when I go mto listen to the MP3 I cannot open the MP3 anymore.
I don't get it it was working before and I am doing the same excact thing.

    Please help.:(_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Al[/small]

FYI: If you edit mp3s with nero or some other wave editor, you decode to wav and re-encode after editing which results in degrading quality. You might want to use MP3DirectCut. It can do cutting, joining, even fadein/out without decoding = lossless. Get it here: http://www.rz.uni-frankfurt.de/~pesch/

But don't understand why it is not working now when I have been using it for the past two days and all of the sudden it won't save.

AFAIK Ahead sells the mp3 *en*coder that is used by Nero seperately. Maybe you had a trial version that doesn't work anymore or something like this. Try to encode a .wav file with nero to mp3 to find out.

No need to buy anything. You can get very good software for free.
For extracting audio from CD use EAC: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/cd-da_extractors/exact_audio_copy.cfm
BTW Browsing the software corner of http://www.afterdawn.com is a good idea anyway.
If you use compressed audio (e.g. mp3) just for listening on PC you might want to have a look at musepack or other newer formats: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org
If you just want to encode wavs to mp3 use free lame, version 3.90.2 or 3.92. You can do this with EAC (using external lame.exe) or get some nice frontend for lame like lamedropXPd: http://www.inf.ufpr.br/~rja00/mp3.html .
lame --alt-preset standard gives you VBR around 190-200kbps and a better quality than anything else (mp3) at this bitrate.
