I have recieved a lot of help from this site before. Now, i need a refrsher. I have a slideshow created on Windows Moviemaker, but when I go to save not the file but save to my computer, it won't then allow me to both view it and hear the MP3 music that I put in the slideshow. Secondly, Nero gave me a trial version but the trial serial number they provied me came expired. Now I am stuck. I do have IMG Burn, but have never used it to burn a DVD. Does anyone know how?
http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=4 One saved to your HDD you can burn it with Imgburn via build mode.
Sorry for putting this in the wrong forum. The music plays as I am previewing it in moviemaker, but not in media player. I cannot seem to get the sound to work when I save file to computer. It only then plays the images in Windows Media Player but not the sound. Do I need to save the sound (a song) in a specific format, say MP3? And, what program shareware-wise can i use to to convert sound file to the proper, saveable moveimaker program.
Windows Movie Maker will save the resulting video in AVI or WMV, right? In order to burn that to a DVD to view it on a stand alone player, unless you have a player that supports the two formats, you will need to convert to DVD. You can use DVD Flick to do that. http://beginwithsoftware.com/videoguides/dvd-flick-guide.html I don't know why you have no audio in WMP. Maybe you don't have the proper codec installed. try playing the video in VLC ( a free, light, verstile player) and and see if you have any sound.
I am trying to use DVDFlick to burn a Windows Moveimaker file.It seems to run the DVDFLick program and then IMGBurn automatically, but no finished product. Can someone take a look at my log and tell me what the problem might be? thanks everyone. Mark I 21:37:53 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I have limewire constantly trying to start up even after I tired to uninstall it. Hoe do I get rid of it? Also the program Process Explorer showed 1700 files. Does that mean I have to individually delete rach one to get DVDFlick/IMGBurn to work and burn a Windows Moviemaker file?
I am really having a difficult time using IMGBurn. It is for a novie like a foreign language. I simply want to take a Wondiws Movemaker file and burn it with IMGBurn. It mentions on the help page for IMG some terms I have no idea what they mean, Firstly make sure your Vob, Ifo and Bup files are in a folder called VIDEO_TS. What on earth does this mean? I just want to burn a moviemaker file that is all.HELP!
Your resulting file from Windows Movie Maker is not a DVD compilation, is an AVI or WMV. Like I said, unless you have a DVD player that supports AVI or WMV, you need to convert that file from WMM to a DVD compilation. DVD Flick will do that, will make the VOB,IFO...and put them all in a Video_TS folder. When that is done, you can burn that Video_TS folder to a DVD(ImgBurn can actually do that automatically when the process is over). Did you try to fix the error that ImgBurn is coming up with?:" I am not sure what's going on with Limewire and where are the 1700 files coming from? A virus or something?Do you mean it found 1700 processes using the drive??!!
Hello Cyprusrom: Now that I have a dvd that burned correctly and can be played on DVDFLick, is ther a way to burn it so it can play on a computer cd drive or does it have to be a dvd/cd drive. I took it took work and it would not play on my cd drive. It is probably stupid of me to thin it would play, but I thought there mught be a way for it to be viewed on a typical computer cd drive.
if that drive is only a CD drive and not a DVD drive, then you cannot use DVDs with it. You'd need to make a VCD in order to use it with that drive.
Well, first you need to create the VCD/SVCD, using a program like Nero or other software that creates VCDs( DVD Flick only creates DVD compilations, no VCD). As for ImgBurn, I honestly don't know if the latest versions burn VCDs. I know last year it was not implemented. The VCD would be burned on a regular blank CD. However, instead of going through all that pain( you'd need at least 2 CDs to put one movie), I would rather pay $20 and buy a DVD drive for that PC.
Once again Cyprusrom I agree with you there. You have been a big help to me, and I really appreciate it. Have a wonderful Christmas!
