Nero Won't Burn Full Speed

    I have a BUSlink 52x24x52 and i use nero because it was bundled with the drive. everything works fine except nero will only go up to 40x and my drive is 52x. Any suggestions?

    Have you tried it with CD Speed or similar? Is your CD-R media up to the 52x speed - most high speed drives calibrate the write speed to match media's abilities.

    yea im using 24x media and i also found that if i turn off smartburn it can burn at full speed but it usually doesnt burn a few of the tracks near the end of the cd
