So I just got a new burner yesterday from NewEgg. LG GH22 Ide, Brand New. Installed it and when trying to burn an audio cd, it won't let me. It doesn't recognize my burner and on the dropdown it says IMAGE RECORDER. How can I fix this?

    Thanks.

Perhaps get the latest release for your version of Nero.

Don't know about CDBurnerXP, but as far as Nero goes, is your version an OEM version? If so, it was only good for the burner that you had.
As far as CDBurnerXP goes, you can check the compatible drives list.

I had the same problem as you, as you noticed in the next thread.
It dawned on me that Nero always tries to take over your computer so i uninstalled it. Now all the other software i have recognises my drive. I have a free version of Starburn, its brill.
    Good luck.

    Regards, Robert.
