I've been succesfully burning dvd's for the past 2 months without any problems, (yes even with the low free memory) at 4x or minimum allowed by media, I save the .iso's from dvd srhink then burn them with nero at a later time, but now, it won't do it, it just writes the lead-in then spits the dvd out and says failure, does anybody know what might be wrong with it? here's the latest log: thankx in advance.

PS. Igotta mention that I had daemon tools installed, worked with no problems, then I installed Alcohol 120% and Daemon tools gave me an error, (apparently caused by Alcochol 120%) so I uninstalled daemon tools, that's when all my dvd burning problems started, so I uninstalled Alcohol 120% but I still get the same problem, could that be related? or did my drive just died?

This needs to be on, go here for guide
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038

You already know about this, you need at least 512 meg to burn successfully. Close down all unnecessary progs including spyware

You are burning too close to edge of disk, set target to 4300

your burner doesnt like your media ,

I have the same problem with the same drive. Some times it burns sometimes it stops ten locks up everything. I have plenty of free mem. Seeing as there is 2 gig in the system and it has happend with different speeds. My next step is to burn slightly less
