When I insert audio files into the storyboard tracks (NeroVision4 VCD Program), there is a constant ticking noise during playback. If I insert an .avi file that has audio attached, everything sounds fine. But any audio placed into track 1 or track 2 has a constant clicking/ticking sound. Any ideas?
Two questions to start, I suppose, what type of audio file are you inserting, and is there something (file type) with audio in the video track?
Thanks. First, there's no audio with the .avi file. The audio I'm placing in either Track 1 or Track 2 is a .wav audio file. All my audio files play fine in Realplayer, Windows Media Player, and even Nero Showtime Player. It's only on these two tracks in the NeroVision4 Program that I get the clicking noise. I don't have to wait to burn the project to hear the noise. I hear it during playback/editing. If, however, I use an .avi file that has audio attached and put nothing in either track 1/2, the video and audio play and sound just fine. Also, whenever a quit a session of NeroVision 4, I get an error message stating that "NeroVision 4 has encountered a problem and must now close." Of course my work is saved because I hit the save button after each editing action.
I struck that problem when I upgraded from 7.0.8.2 to a later version of Nero...apparently it has something to do with settings, I uninstalled my current version and re installed 7.5.7.0 from here, http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/ problem solved.
