I use NeroVision to make DVDs of my home videos that I can play in my home theater DVD player. The quality is never as good as computer playback because the videos always get re-encoded at a lower quality. I recently bought a new computer that has a dual layer DVD burner in it, and I was wondering if the setting in Nero that says 'DVD-9' was refering to a dual layer DVD, one that would allow more space for the video, and still play in my DVD player.
Hi moo1037 Yes the DVD-9 option in Nero is for dual layer DVD's. To increase compatibility on the dvd player if your drive supports it - booktype the +R DL media to DVD-Rom. Can only booktype +R media. Now for media - use only Verbatim Dual Layer.
