NeroVision Express 3 DVD problem

    Whenver I attempt to burn a DVD in Nerovision 3, I get an error.I choose my avi file, makes my menus, and then at about 99 or 100%, it fails and gives me this error in the log:

    It does this everytime! What can I do?

    I am not familiar with nero logs but i have read many threads about not using burn at once try unchecking that see what happens

    elliot, you can't uncheck burn at once as far as I know. NVE 3 doesn't give you many burn options compared to Burning ROM.

    You are getting an Unspecified target error. This far into the burn there is a very good chance that you have some poor media. However it's really hard for me to tell as I have no idea how large the original files were..... I mean if the original were 2 gigs then you would only be nearing the middle of the blank at 99%.

    If it is a full sized movie then you may want to reduce the file size somewhat.

    I'd burn it to the HDD then open it in Shrink, Select Edit then Preferences. Change the Target DVD size to something a bit smaller, say 4300MB.

    I'd also try different media although I don't know what you are using now. I recommend Taiyo Yuden 8X -R.

    I dislike these NVE burn logs because the things are a mile long, but it is really the only way I can tell what is actually going on. Why don't you post the entire thing, minus your Nero serial number.

    it also may not be your media but is worth a try i use khypermedia not expensive and very relaible never had a prob. using shrink is a very good idea create an iso and burn it
